In July, the mainstream prices of zinc ingot went up with fluctuation in general due to the decreased supply of zinc ingot under the power control in some provinces. The market witnessed limited deals under the weak downstream consumption and the release of second batch of national zinc reserves.
TCs of zinc concentrate went up while the zinc concentrate supply remained tight in China, but the tight supply got eased along with production resumption of some mines in South China. The imported zinc concentrate supply increased slightly in July.
Prices for zinc die-casting alloy, zinc oxide and zinc powder went up with fluctuation following those for raw material zinc ingot. Market also saw limited deals as zinc die-casting alloy market stayed in the off season and consumers held watchful attitudes under flat demand for zinc ingot but hearing the release of second batch of national zinc reserves. With strong demand for zinc powder, the market saw increased deals.
