Prices of non-grain oriented electrical steel in major markets of China kept the downward trend during this month because of customers' slow purchasing activities, while those of grain oriented electrical steel went up mainly supported by high prices from steel mills. Customers still purchased materials upon orders amid the traditionally low season and the market sales performance remained unsatisfactory.
