No. 6 blast furnace of Liuzhou Steel to be dismantled this time had a designed effective volume of 1,500 cubic meters and a designed annual production capacity of 1.33 million tons, with a utilization factor of 2.4t/m3, and 4 top-fired spherical hot blast stoves were set as supporting facility. The blast furnace was put into operation in September 2005. Since it went into operation, No. 6 of Liuzhou Steel has produced a total of 20 million tons of iron.
