First train carrying coal from Xinjiang arrives in Zhongwei of Ningxia

At 19:30 of 25 July, Train No. 86008 carrying 3,200 tons of coal from Liugou town of Xinjiang arrived in Zhongwei, Ningxia, marking steady transition from highway transportation to railway transportation between Ningxia and Xinjiang and substantial achievements, starting the new mode of joint container transportation of highway and railway between Xinjiang and Ningxia, and establishing a stable new railway logistics channel for strategic cooperation between Xinjiang and Ningxia.
The train with 50 carriages carried 100 35-ton open-top containers, which effectively eased coal shortage of Zhongwei-based enterprises with a number of advantages, such as door-to-door transportation and handling service, high handling efficiency, small loss of coal, low transportation cost as well as high carrying capacity and capacity.
