The latest data released by National Bureau of Statistics showed that China produced about 24.76 million tons of rebar in June 2021, up by 1.4% year on year, and recorded a total output of 136.25 million tons in the first six months of 2021, up by 11.2% year on year.
In June, China produced about 16.19 million tons of medium-thick steel strip, up by 12.8% year on year. In the first half of 2021, the total output reached about 94.74 million tons, up by 16.8% year on year.
In June, China produced about 14.20 million tons of wire rod, down by 3.3% year on year. In the first half of 2021, the total output reached about 82.93 million tons, up by 7.2% year on year.
In June, China produced about 87.87 million tons of iron ore, up by 9.0% year on year. In the first half of 2021, the total output reached about 490.81 million tons, up by 15.9% year on year.
