China Shenhua's commercial coal sales up by 17.3% YOY in Jan-Jun

According to major operating data of June 2021 released by China Shenhua on July 17, the company produced 25.10 million tons of commercial coal in June 2021, an increase of 3.3% year-on-year, compared with a year-on-year decrease of 2.4% last month; an increase of 4.15% from the previous month. It sold 41.4 million tons of the material during the month, a year-on-year increase of 8.4%, and the growth rate narrowed by 0.5 percentage points from the previous month; a month-on-month increase of 2.2%.
From January to June 2021, China Shenhua produced 152.40 million tons of commercial coal, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%, and the growth rate narrowed by 0.2 percentage points from the previous month; it sold 240.8 million tons of coal, a year-on-year increase of 17.3%, and the growth rate was 2 percentage points lower than the previous month.
