Prices of non-grain oriented electrical steel in major markets of China witnessed a downward trend during this month on soft demand, and those of grain oriented electrical steel remained stable. Customers without urgent need for materials preferred to take a cautious attitude and placed orders sparingly. Some steel mills cut the production and the supply decreased accordingly.
