Ukraine's crude steel production up by 7.5% YOY in H1

According to preliminary data released by the Ukrmetallurgprom, from January to June 2021, Ukraine's steel plants produced 10.86 million tons of crude steel and 9.6 million tons of finished steel, an increase of 7.5% and 6.6% year-on-year respectively.
At the same time, Ukraine's pig iron output reached 10.8 million tons during the same period, up by 8.1% against the corresponding period last year.
