Hunan San'an semiconductor industrial park sees construction completion

On June 23, a construction-completion ceremony was held for Hunan San'an semiconductor industrial park project, indicating that the first generation-three semiconductor industrial park was built in Hunan province and China's first silicon carbide full-industry chain production line went into formal operation.
The San'an semiconductor industrial park has a total investment of RMB16 billion (USD2.48 billion) and covers a total land of 1,000 Mu. When it ramps up to nameplate capacity, it is expected to form an annual production value of RMB12 billion (USD1.86 billion) and likely to galvanize development of upstream and downstream industries over RMB100 billion (USD15.49 billion).
