1. Market Highlights
In May, rebar prices increased to the highest price peak during the past 10 years. However, as government controls bulk commodity prices, rebar prices dropped back again,but steel mills could still make good profit as demand kept strong, which supported vanadium prices kept increasing. As vanadium nitride and ferrovanadium stocks kept at a high level, vanadium prices could hardly increase too quick and just grew up steadily. The market stayed in a reducing stocks situation and most insiders hold optimistic attitude to the market tendency.
In international market, due to the tight supply and active inquiries in spot market, vanadium prices moved up significantly, and most insiders hold optimistic for the market.
