Jiangsu will carry out the 100-day safety campaign in metallurgy industry and other industry and trade industries from June to September, including inspection and random inspection on key enterprises.
Enterprises working on metal smelting and explosive dust, consuming a large number of hazardous chemicals and engaging in other businesses with high safety risks are involved in this inspection. Law enforcement officials will check whether key situations mentioned by Ministry of Emergency Management exist in iron and steel production, aluminum processing (deep well casting), dust explosion and other activities in limited room, whether primary responsibilities are fulfilled, whether safety risks identification control and report responsibilities of enterprises and main persons in charge are carried out, and whether metallurgical and other industrial enterprises using hazardous chemicals confront key situations listed by the province.
