Magnesite: As the local government of Liaoning didn't resume the supply of explosives for magnesite mining companies, plus that some magnesia producers resumed production, the supply of magnesite turned tight in May. Therefore, most suppliers lifted the prices.
Caustic calcined magnesia: Due to the recovered supply, most producers lowered the prices to promote sales.
Dead burned magnesia: In general, the demand remained weak, but most producers held the prices firm due to the stable production cost.
Fused magnesia: Though most producers of H-Ca fused magnesia have no inventory, they held the prices unchanged facing the pressure from buyers. The demand for original fused magnesia and large crystal fused magnesia remained weak, most producers kept the prices steady based on firm production cost.
