Shaoguan Iron & Steel Songshan Company kept stable and high efficient production in May, with the monthly outputs of iron, steel and section setting new records.
In May, the company produced about 604,900t of iron, breaking the record of 590,200t in March 2021, with a new record of 19,515tpd; it produced 783,900t of steel, breaking the record of 775,000t in March 2021; the rolling mill produced 686,700t of section, a new high after 664,700t in March.
The company reduced 12,000t of stocks of all types of steel in May.
