Zhongwei city of Ningxia restricts production of some high energy consumption enterprises

In order to effectively curb the soaring trend of energy consumption and achieve the annual energy consumption control goals, the energy conservation and emission reduction working team of Zhongwei city of Ningxia decided to take production curtailment measures against some key high energy consumption enterprises, including 22 enterprises from iron and steel industry, ferroalloy industry, silicon carbide industry and calcium carbide industry. The production curtailment starts from 3 June, 2021 and ends on 31 December, 2021. 30% of the production curtailment goal will be achieved in June and another 30% will be achieved from July to December based on remained annual energy consumption control goals of these enterprises.
