Xinxu Special Materials to put 100-ton arc furnace steelmaking short process project in Jun of 2022

Xinxu Special Materials arc furnace project expects to finish housing demolition and resident relocation for the first phase project at the end of May and advance construction and geological survey in June as scheduled. With the a total investment of RMB5 billion (USD0.78 billion), the project plans to construct one 100-ton arc furnace steelmaking short process production line and supporting facilities and make plans for related production lines, expecting to go into commercial production in June 2022 and produce 960,000 tons of high-quality steel products per annum after starting commercial production.
