According to the preliminary statistics released by Russia's Ministry of Energy, Russia's coal output and exports continued increasing noticeably in the first four months of 2021
In April, Russia produced about 35.04 million tons of coal, up by about 2 . 45 million tons or 7 . 5% year on year, and exported about 17 . 96 million tons of coal, up by about 2 . 32 million tons or 14 . 8% year on year.
. From January to April, Russia's coal output totaled 143 million tons, up by about 11 . 32 million tons or 8 . 57% from the corresponding period last year, and its coal exports totaled about 65 . 62 million tons, up by about 9 . 80 million tons or 17 . 57% from the same period last year.
