Magnesite: Due to the environmental inspection, most magnesia producers halted production. The demand for magnesite remained weak in April, but many magnesite mines also suspended production or stopped selling. Therefore, most mining companies held the magnesite prices firm.
Caustic calcined magnesia: Due to the environmental inspection, most producers halted production. However, buyers refuse higher prices as they would rather delay the purchase to May. Therefore, most producers held the prices basically stable.
Dead burned magnesia: As the supply shrank due to the environmental inspection, most producers slightly lifted the prices in April.
Fused magnesia: Though the demand for original fused magnesia and H-Ca fused magnesia recovered, most producers held the prices steady and mainly sold their inventory. And the prices of fused magnesia large crystal moved up slightly due to the increased prices of raw material.
