Global crude steel production for the 64 countries reporting to World Steel Association (worldsteel) reached 169 million tonnes (Mt) in March 2021, up by 15
Production from China is estimated at 94 Mt in March 2021, up by 19.1% compared to March 2020.
India produced 10 Mt, up by 23.9% YOY . Japan produced 8 . 3 Mt, up by 4 . 6% YOY . The United States produced 7 . 1 Mt, up by 1 . 0% YOY.
According to estimation, Russia produced 6.6 Mt in March 2021, up by 9 . 4% YOY . South Korea produced 6 . 1 Mt, up by 4 . 7% YOY . Germany produced 3 . 6 Mt, up by 10 . 4% YOY .
