Brown fused alumina: The demand and supply both increased in March after the Chinese Spring Festival holiday ended. Though most producers tried lifting the prices as they have no inventory pressure and the production cost increased, but they finally failed as most buyers showed firm refusals towards prices increase.
White fused alumina: Due to the firm prices in China and increased ocean freight, the prices in Europe would move up further. However, most producers failed increasing their prices as most buyer refused higher prices, though the supply showed tight.
