GAC AION to expand intelligent ecological plant

On April 15, GAC AION announced that its intelligent ecological plant will be expanded, with an estimated investment of about 500 million yuan (76.65 million US dollars). It plans to double its annual production capacity to 200,000 vehicles by early 2022, from the original 100,000 vehicles.
Data showed that GAC AION sold a total of about 17,600 vehicles in the first quarter of this year, up by 120.89% YOY.
