Prices of non-grain oriented electrical steel in major markets of China witnessed a downward trend during this month on soft demand, and those of grain oriented electrical steel went up mainly supported by the increase in steel mills' EXW prices. Customers without urgent need for materials were mostly taking a cautious attitude and placing orders sparingly.
