Sichuan Anning Iron and Titanium Co. reduces ilmenite concentrate output

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 2 Apr 21 - As one of major ilmenite concentrate producers in China, Sichuan Anning Iron and Titanium Co.Asian Metal Copyright They hold no stocks now, the same as last month.Asian Metal Copyright plans to arrange a 10-day overhaul and the output in April would reduce to 40,000t, down by 10,000t from March, according to a source from the company.

"We would have a 10-day overhaul this month, so the output would reduce by 10,000t compared with last month. Encouraged by strong demand from end user, we remain optimistic about the market," said the source, adding that they quote RMB2,400/t (USD360/t) Ex-VAT EXW at the moment, up by RMB200/t (USD30/t) from early last week.

Current mainstream prices of Chinese ilmenite concentrate TiO2 46%min, Fe2O3 8%max increased to RMB2,250-2,300/t (USD338-345/t) EXW D/P, up by RMB100/t (USD15/t) from early last week.
