On March 16th, the commencement and resumption ceremony for key projects in spring 2021 was held in Wuhai, including the steel slag treatment project of Wanteng Iron & Steel Co., Ltd under Baotou Iron & Steel.
With a total investment of 148 million yuan (22.76 million US dollars), the project covers an area of about 27,000 square meters and will have a processing equipment of 600,000tpy and a solid slag field. The construction period is 2 years. The project is designed to improve the utilization rate of resources and dispose solid waste of the company.
