Yangzhou Zhongtianli to resume high-purity arsenic production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 17 Mar 21 - One of major Chinese arsenic metal 99.9999%min producers, Yangzhou Zhongtianli New Material Co., Ltd. plans to resume arsenic metal 99.9999%min production at the end of June and expects to produce around 3.5t a month, a source from the company disclosed to Asian Metal.
The source said, "Due to the moving, we halted arsenic metal 99.9999%min production since the end of 2018 and finished the building of the new plant presently. We expect to start the production in late June." They have no inventories currently and believe that the prices would keep firm in the coming week due to the tight supply.
The producer, based on a production capacity of 50tpy of arsenic metal 99.9999%min, has a production capacity of 20tpy before the halting. They invested about RMB50 million (USD7,695,000) in the new factory.
Currently, the mainstream prices of Chinese arsenic metal 99.9999%min hover at RMB1,050-1,100/kg (USD162-169/kg) EXW D/P, unchanged from the end of last week. The market sees stable deals and downstream consumers' demand keeps steady.
