On March 11, SDIC Jincheng Metallurgy held the commencement ceremony of copper tailings comprehensive utilization project.
The project, with a total investment of 23.4 million yuan (3.6 million US dollars), is a resource recycling project for iron on the basis of gold, silver, copper and other metals recycled by the company's original smelting slag beneficiation process. The project is designed to process 450,000 tons of flotation tailings of copper smelting and recycle 187,500 tons of heavy medium powder annually. After the project reached the target output, the annual sales income will increase by over 21 million yuan (3.23 million US dollars).
