In view of increased prices of graphite electrode, Chinese brown fused alumina suppliers raised the prices but failed as the buyers refused the increased prices. Therefore, the market saw stable prices by late of February.
Given the flat prices of raw materials alumina powder, Chinese white fused alumina suppliers held the prices firm this month. Thus, the prices of Chinese white fused alumina kept stable in February.
Due to the stable prices of brown fused alumina in domestic market, the export suppliers kept the prices unchanged. Therefore, the export prices of Chinese brown fused alumina remained flat in February.
On account of the flat prices in domestic market, Chinese export suppliers held the prices firm. Therefore, the export prices of Chinese white fused alumina stayed steady this month.
In spite of the resuming demand, the suppliers in India held the prices firm. Therefore, the prices of brown fused alumina in India remained unchanged this month. In Europe, the prices of brown fused alumina and white fused alumina stayed stable.
