Prices of non-grain oriented electrical steel in major markets of China went up further during this month mainly supported by the insufficient supply from steel mills and the increase in steel mills' EXW prices, and those of grain oriented electrical steel were generally stable. Major steel mills such as Baosteel, WISCO and Ansteel announced to further lift their EXW prices of NGO electrical steel produced in March. However, because of the Spring Festival holiday, customers were mostly purchasing upon orders and the market sales performance continued to be unsatisfying.
