On February 4th, the lightweight high-end automotive aluminum sheet project of Novelis settled in Zhenjiang.
The project, with a total investment of 300 million US dollars and a planned area of about 400mu, will be constructed in 3 years. It will include a new 180,000m2 workshop for cold rolling and auxiliary equipment, which will achieve an annual output of 230,000 tons of lightweight high-end automotive cold-rolled aluminum coils after being completed, mainly providing lightweight high-end aluminum sheets for BMW, Tesla, NIO and other new energy vehicles, with an annual output value of 3.5 billion yuan (541 million US dollars).
