HBIS Group Wusteel makes first supply of ultra-thick special steel to Caterpillar plant in Indonesia

On January 26, HBIS Group Wusteel firstly supplied 300t of ultra-thick special steel (with the largest thickness of 250mm) to Caterpillar plant in Indonesia, the world famous heavy machinery manufacturer, which will be applied into bridge construction in Indonesia and foster the development of the Belt and Road.
HBIS Group Wusteel is a major raw material supplier of Caterpillar plant and supplies tens of thousands of steel plates to the latter annually. It was the first steel enterprise in China that could cooperate with Caterpillar plant to develop 1E series steel. It was said that the ultra-thick special steel exported Caterpillar plant in Indonesia met European standards with the type of S355J2+N.
