India temporarily cancels anti-dumping measures on high speed steel of non cobalt grade related to China

On February 1, 2021, the tax bureau of the Ministry of Finance of India announced that from February 2, 2021 to September 30, 2021, the anti-dumping duty on high speed steel of non cobalt grade originating in or imported from China, Brazil and Germany will be suspended.
On August 14, 2018, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India announced that, in response to the application submitted by Indian domestic enterprises, an anti-dumping investigation on high speed steel of non cobalt grade originated from or imported from China, Brazil and Germany was launched. On August 1, 2019, India made a final anti-dumping judgment on the case and proposed to impose anti-dumping duties on the products of the above countries for a period of five years . The specific duties are USD1902 . 34-3263.68/t for China, USD2147.22/t for Brazil and USD2259.22/t for Germany, involving products under Indian customs codes 72281010 and 72281090 and some other products under 7228 . On September 25, 2019, India's Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation issued a tax order to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the case in the above countries, involving products under the Indian customs codes 72281010 and 72281090.
