CNNC Hua Yuan Titanium Dioxide to build a comprehensive resource utilization project

CNNC Hua Yuan Titanium Dioxide announced on February 3 that the company plans to invest in a comprehensive resource utilization project through its wholly-owned subsidiary Gansu Dongfang Titanium Industry Co., Ltd. It aims at building a crude titanium dioxide production line with an annual output of 200,000 tons and supporting auxiliary projects. It is planned to start construction in April 2021, and completes it within 24 months (the actual construction situation shall prevail). The estimated total investment of the project is about RMB932 million (USD144 million). And the estimated annual profit is RMB320 million (USD49.55 million).
CNNC Hua Yuan Titanium Dioxide stated that, in combination with the existing crude titanium dioxide project with an annual output of 100,000 tons of Dongfang Titanium, the expansion of the project with an annual output of 200,000 tons of crude titanium dioxide will effectively improve the company's overall industrial scale and comprehensive competitiveness, which is in line with the company's long-term development plan and strategy.
