On February 2nd, Chongqing Iron & Steel's No. 3 blast furnace was successfully reopened, marking the complete completion of the Chongqing Iron & Steel blast furnace system upgrade and transformation project, and Chongqing Iron & Steel's 4 blast furnaces were opened at full capacity at the same time.
It is reported that the No. 3 blast furnace was shut down on December 6, 2020 for upgrading. After the upgrading is completed, the blast furnace will have a production capacity of more than 7,000 tons of hot metal per day.
