CPMC plans to build aluminum two-piece can production line in Kunming

CPMC Holdings Limited announced that CPMC Investment, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, signed an investment agreement with the Management Committee of Yunnan Dianzhong New Area on January 28, 2021. According to this agreement, CPMC Investment will invest in the construction of an aluminum two-piece can plant in Kunming, Yunnan, and build an internationally advanced aluminum two-piece can production line.
With a total investment of 485 million yuan (75.22 million US dollars), the project is constructed by CPMC Investment through establishing a joint venture with another company. The registered capital of the joint venture company shall not be less than 90 million yuan (13.96 million US dollars), of which the investment from CPMC Investment shall account for no less than 70%.
