Recently, the low-temperature malleable Q420 hot-rolled H-beam steel developed by Masteel and produced by the heavy H-beam steel production line made its world debut.
Without nickel alloys, the product, with the impact toughness of 250-300J/cm2 at 60°C below zero, is of doubled performance and lower cost in comparison to products of the same type in both Chinese and overseas markets and can satisfy strategic needs, such as large structural steel in alpine regions and all-weather railway transportation.
