Daye discovers 33,000t of tungsten ore

It's learned from the First Geological Team of the Geological Bureau of Hubei that 33,000t of tungsten ore were newly discovered in the Fujiashan area of Daye. So far, 58,400t of tungsten ore have been discovered in the mining area, reaching the scale of large-scale tungsten mines and rewriting the history of no large-scale tungsten mines in Hubei.
According to reports, the ore body has a large thickness, shallow burial and good economic recoverability with a potential value of RMB4.2 billion (USD640.04 million).
It's reported that tungsten ranks seventh in the importance of mineral resources in Hubei, but the tungsten volume in Hubei is only 52,500t, which is a serious shortage of supply and demand. The newly discovered tungsten ore accounts for 60% of the province's tungsten reserves and 40% of the total identified tungsten reserves in Hubei. It will provide follow-up resource guarantee for the development of related industries and mining enterprises in Hubei.
