Prices of both non-grain oriented electrical steel and grain oriented electrical steel in major markets of China witnessed an upward trend during this month mainly supported by the low market inventory and steel mills' price increase. The supply from steel mills was insufficient and there were not many materials in the spot market. However, customers without urgent need for materials were mostly holding a wait-and-see attitude and the market sales performance did not become better.
