CAAM: China's estimated auto sales up by 5.4% YOY in Dec

According to the ten-day report of key enterprises by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), the sales volume of automobile industry is estimated to be 2.80 million units in December 2020, up by 1.2% MOM and 5.4% YOY; from the perspective of subdivided models, the sales of passenger car increased by 5.9% YOY while the sales of commercial vehicle decreased by 4.4% YOY.
The cumulative sales of the automobile industry are estimated to be 25.27 million units in 2020, down by 1.9% YOY; in terms of vehicle models, passenger car sales fell by 6.1% YOY, while commercial vehicle sales increased by 18% YOY.
