Shanxi Coking Group's coking project breaks ground

On January 1st, the ground-breaking ceremony for Shanxi Coking Group's coking project with an annual capacity of 1.44 million tons was held in Zhaocheng Industrial Park of Hongdong Economic and Technological Development Zone.
Shanxi Coking Group integrated the coke production capacity of the surrounding area and focused on the construction of modernized large coke, so as to promote the construction of the coking project with an annual capacity of 1.44 million tons. The project manager will construct a 7-meter reheated top loading coke oven, a set of 190t/h dry quenching coke plant, coal yard, sulfur recovery and other production facilities. Besides, waste heat utilization, waste water treatment, water supply, power supply and other public auxiliary facilities will also be built. Upon completion, the project is expected to produce 1.44 million tons of metallurgical coke and 115,000t of coking by-products. Its comprehensive utilization of coke oven gas may be 40,000 cubic meters per hour.
