Hebei to conduct environmental assessment and approval for a coking project

Recently, Hebei Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment plans to examine and approve the environmental impact documents of Hebei Xinxing Energy Technology's coking project with an annual capacity of 1.94 million tons in accordance with the relevant provisions of the approval procedures for environmental impact assessment of projects under construction.
Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes, Hebei Jinpeng Coalification Shaft Furnace Industry and Hebei Yuzhou Coalification Industry jointly established Hebei Xinxing Energy Technology (controlled by the Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes) and invest RMB2.57 billion (USD398 million) to construct Hebei Xinxing Energy Technology's coking project with an annual capacity of 1.94 million tons in the existing plant area.
