Jingzhou coal storage base starts operation

On January 5, the phase I project of Jingzhou coal storage and distribution base integrating railway and water transport was put into operation.
The base has four functions, namely, logistics distribution, emergency reserve, coal blending processing and coal trading. It is the transportation system project with the largest investment scale and the strongest transfer capacity along the Haoji railway, and also the key construction project in Hubei Province. With a total investment of RMB7 billion (USD1.08 billion) and an annual coal handling capacity of 50 million tons and a static coal stockpiling capacity of 5 million tons, the project will become the largest coal trading and storage center in Central China.
