CATL establishes battery technology company

On December 30th, Ningpu Times Battery Technology Co., Ltd. was established jointly by China Logistics Holding No. 116 Company and CATL with shares of 51% and 49% respectively.
With total registered capitals of RMB500 million (USD7.66 million), the newly-established company focuses on R&D of new materials and special materials used in electronics industry, technology promotion and application services, manufacturing and sales of batteries, renting of storage batteries and recycling of waste power batteries used in new energy vehicle industry.
