NFC's subsidiaries to continue to carry out futures hedging business of zinc metal products

NFC (China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd.) announced on December 24, to reduce the product price volatility risk and effectively control management risk, its subsidiaries China Nonferrous Metal Zinc and China Nonferrous Metal Mining would continue to carry out futures hedging business of zinc metal products related to NFC's production and operation in 2021, in accordance with the relevant provisions and the actual needs of NFC's business development. The margin of the business will be no more than RMB130 million (USD19.92 million) this time. In 2021, the total amount of zinc metal hedging of NFC is planned to be 112,200t, among which the annual total amount of China Nonferrous Metal Zinc is not more than 97,200t and that of China Nonferrous Metal Mining no more than 15,000t.
