On December 12, Shiheng Special Steel's "Special Construction Steel" industrial cluster project was put into commercial operation.
The project has an investment of more than RMB15 billion (USD2.29 billion) and covers eight main production lines. After the project is officially put into operation, it will have a newly added sales income of RMB20 billion (USD3.06 billion) with an annual production capacity of 4.65 million tons, making it be one of four major steel industry clusters in Shandong.
