PMI of Hebei steel industry registers 51.8% in Oct

According to data released by Hebei Metallurgical Industry Association, the PMI of Hebei steel industry in October 2020 was 51.8%, down by 0.5% MOM. The figure was above the threshold for six consecutive months, indicating that the Hebei steel industry was in a stable operation trend.
In October, the new order index was 54.7%, up by 0.7% MOM; the new export order index was 42.3%, an increase of 1.8% MOM; the output index was 51.8%, down by 2.2% compared with September; the finished product inventory index was 50.0%, up by 4.0% on month-on-month basis; the raw material inventory index was 45.5%, down by 0.5% against last month; the raw material purchase price index was 48.9%, up by 0.9% from the previous month.
