Xufeng New Energy signs special coke for alloy project contract with Chayouqian Banner

On November 4, the People's Government of Chayouqian Banner signed a contract with Xufeng New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. to produce 3 million tons of special coke for alloy and 1 million tons of high-purity metal base materials annually.
The project is expected to receive an investment of RMB5.1 billion (USD775 million), including RMB4 billion (USD608 million) for fixed assets, and the proposed land area is 1,730 mu. After completion, the project will realize annual comprehensive output value of RMB26 billion (USD3.9 billion) and profits and taxes of RMB3 billion (USD456 million). The high-purity metal base material project can be further upgraded to a project for ultra-pure iron 99.999%, which is expected to enlarge the annual output value to RMB30 billion (USD4.6 billion).
