Jiangxi Copper starts construction of Kazakhstan tungsten mine project

On the morning of 11 November (local time), the commencement ceremony for initial stage of Kazakhstan Boguty tungsten mine was held.
Jiangxi Copper and Hengzhao International (Hong Kong) invest in Zhetisu Volframy Limited Liability Partnership and develop the super-large open pit tungsten mine in Baguty together.
According to Zhang Jianhua, General Manager of Jiaxin International Resource Investment Co., Ltd., Baguty owns world-class tungsten resource and the project will be one of single tungsten mines with the largest production capacity in the world. Expecting to account for over 10% of annual global tungsten concentrate production, the project is of excellent economic benefit and social benefit.
