Even though Chinese crude steel output slipped in September MOM and the slipping trend remained lasting in October and November, ferrosilicon prices in China showed upward trend during the whole month in October supported by the increasing raw material prices and consistently short of spot supply. Prices of ferrosilicon 72%min and 75%min in China both edged up when steel mills actively placed orders for October and November.
