China Baowu signs procurement contracts with 13 enterprises at CIIE

China Baowu sub-group under central enterprise trade group held a theme activity at the 3rd China International Import Expo (CIIE). Baoshan Iron & Steel, Taiyuan Iron and Steel, Baosight Software and Ouyeel signed strategic cooperation agreements at CIIE for the procurement of intelligent and high-end equipment with 13 companies including Siemens, ABB, etc.
The intended transaction amount of Baowu sub-group will be higher than the previous two sessions of CIIE. Fives's SACL annealing furnace, SMS's plate mill, ABB and Siemens's intelligent manufacturing projects of the metallurgical industry, etc. will further accelerate the promotion and application of artificial intelligence technology in enterprises, and facilitate ecological environment protection, energy conservation and consumption reduction.
