HBIS Group Shisteel starts official production in new plant

On the morning of October 29, HBIS Group Shisteel officially started production in its new plant in Jingxing mining area, the east side of Taihang Mountain in the west of Shijiazhuang.
It is said that the new plant of HBIS Group Shisteel has the annual special steel production capacity of two million tons of steel and 1.92 million tons of products. The new plant uses electric furnace short process steel-making technology, which could reduces the emission of pollutants by over 70% on the equal production scale compared with long process technology.
