Hubei Echeng Iron & Steel sees successful hot test run of 1# line of steel slag treatment production line project

On 20 October, 1# line of Hubei Echeng Iron & Steel steel slag treatment production line project, constructed by MCC Building Research Institute, recorded a successful hot test run.
The project includes two treatment production lines and supporting facilities, with an annual steel slag handling capacity of 750,000 tons. Being in the last stage of construction, the 2# line is expected to have a hot test run in November. After the project goes into commercial production, the steel slag waste water discharge will be zero and the steel slag dust emission will be less than 10mg/Nm3, satisfying national and local emission standards and environmental protection requirements and improving steel slag treatment environment effectively.
